FYI, Sallie's given name was "Sarah", she was the daughter of James Williamson and Eliza Callaham. James Williamson was the s/o Mastin Williamson & Sarah Cox, also buried in this cemetery. I spent several hours last Saturday with Buddy, trying to map & identify other headstones. One fieldstone was cleared etched with "W.W. 1852". This is believed to be the fieldstone of "William Williamson" born 1764-1852. The father of Mastin Williamson. Another fieldstone was etched "R W". Believed to be the stone of "Rosanna Williamson", w/o William Williamson. David Williamson, DWILLIAMSON7@sc.rr.com o----------o From: Leland Williamson Sent: Wednesday, November 03, 2010 5:55 PM Subject: Williamson Cemetery The Williamson Cemetery was started on William Williamson's land not Mastin's. The Cemetery is now located on The Williamson Farm Land, a partnership, not on Dempsey land. The Dempsey land is about 2 acres where their house is located. o----------o William Williamson bought all this land in 1797 for $300. I just want him to get proper credit. I like to tell people we have had this land for over 200 yrs and we have it about paid for. It is a Bi-Centenial farm. One of 80+ in SC. I have been Senior partner since our Mother's death in 1985. Thank you again. Leland Williamson
