HISTORY: -------- When the Bayshore community was built, rather than move this cemetery, the entrance road was simply built around it. The cemetery has a very old 3-4' wall around it that is made of slab-stone. The stone wall is being covered with English Ivy and trees are growing within the wall. It is obvious that this cemetery will be grown over in another 20 years. About 8 of the tombstones are readable - 7 are unreadable. There also appears to be one grave marker that is located outside of the north wall. A local resident provided me with additional burial information for J.T., Julia, George W. and R.C. Lidell - I couldn't find their tombstones. ---------- Hello Paul, You don't know me, however, I found online the listing of graves you posted for the Liddell family Cemetery near Seneca, SC. I was pleased to finally find one of my second Great Grandmothers on the list. I had been searching for her burial location for a while. She is R. C. Liddell (Rebecca Caroline Liddell Lowery) that you list as being buried there based in information you received from a local resident. I is too bad I figured this out after a recent trip from Atlanta to Mountain View Cemetery in Seneca where some of my Lowery/Lowry ancestors are buried. I would have liked to visit the Liddell plot. Thanks for the hard work. The birth and death dates for R. C. Liddell match what I have for her. Other relatives of mine that are shown on your list to be buried in the Liddell Cemetery include a 3rd Great Grandfather, a 3rd great uncle, and a 3rd great Aunt.
