The SC DHEC website provides information on the Vital Records it manages and how to obtain a certified copy of a birth certificate. Aiken County Health Cepartment, the local DHEC office, located at 222 Beaufort St NE, Aiken, provides copies of birth and death certificates. The County Coroner's office provides specific information on death certificates.
