Georgia Hilliard BROWN is my gr-gr-grandmother who died January 21, 1966 in
Cheraw, Chesterfield, SC. I believe that she was married to her 2nd
husband, last name of Brown, but have no additional information. She was
buried in her hometown of Dodge County, Rhine Georgia at Pleasant Grove
Baptist Church. There is a marker at her grave next to her headstone
that has the name of the funeral home that handled her arrangement, Stubbs
Funeral Home, Cheraw, SC. She died in the Chesterfield County Hospital.
her sons were Herbert and Manly Hilliard. I am contacting vital records
for her death certificate but would appreciate a newspaper obituary and
possibly the "Brown" connection in Cheraw. Thank you.

I am trying to find the father of Clayton GREEN. I understand that
Clayton was the Police Chief of Pageland, Chesterfield County, SC, many years
ago. His widowed mother shows up in the 1910 and 1920 Chesterfield

sister named Grace. I would like to identify Clayton's father.

Does anyone have any information?
- McFARLAND - Tom Talbert,
4/18/05
In response to a 2000 Query that does not have accurent email address to
respond to, from Linda Roy: My g-grandfather Michael Talbert was married
to a Margaret Elizabeth McFARLAND, in 1841 by Rev. Hugh Craig. They were
enumerated in the 1850 Census at Chesterfield Court House Twp. His name
was listed as Micassa Talbert, which could have been the enumerator's
understanding of Michael Cagey (or perhaps for some other reason.) Thank you.
- MOORE - Ben Miles,
4/18/05
I would like to know who the father was of Henry MOORE. Henry MOORE is
the grandfather of Troy MOORE of Ruby. Is there any records that can be
searched? This person would have been alive during the Civil War.
He would also have been my great great grandfather. Thank you for any
information.

Searching for the children of Sarah (Sallie) J. Spencer and John Henry
Walsh. She was born 6 October 1841, died 26 Mar 1890, and buried in
the Chesterfield City Cemetery. She was the daughter of Oliver Haws
Spencer of Chesterfield County, SC. They are on the Chesterfield
County, SC PO Cheraw census for 1860, 1870 and 1880. I think that one
child may have been born after the 1880n Census. Any help will be
appreciated.
