Gone but not Forgotten.
The following is a copy of a long poem written by
Kelly Haselden. I think it should be included.
WADE
Wade was a person we all knew and loved,
truly a gift sent from God above.
Wade was one who loved to hunt and fish,
to kill an 8 point was his only wish.
He like to see others laugh and smile,
always going that extra mile.
We so often think of the stories he'd tell,
even the jokes we remember them well.
Now, Wade wasn't always that fond of school,
He has been known to bend the rules.
But he was thoughtful and generous with whatever he had,
polite and well mannered and slow to get mad.
Wade's no longer with us to share our tommorrows,
and now we are left with this pain, grief and sorrow.
There will always be a place deep within our hearts,
where Wade will live on and never depart.
The worries and fears that he felt are now gone,
as he starts his new life in his eternal home.
Welcomed by God with his never-ending love,
he will now brighten a corner of Heaven above.
Written by Kelly Haselden, Feb 15 1994.
