WIGGINS / ISGETT Family Cemetery in Dillon Co SC.
Copied November 1997 by R. Barry Wiggins and Jo Church Dickerson.
(Barry held back briars and read inscriptions while Jo wrote them down.)Location: NE of town of Dillon near Roundabout Bay, in a field off McLellan Road (SR 486).
Directions: Going east on Hwy #9 from Dillon, bear left in Riverdale onto Pleasant Hill Road (SR 30). Go 2.5 miles and turn left onto McLellan Road (SR 486). Go 1.3 miles. Cemetery is just beyond a dirt road, on the left, behind a house, beyond some falling-down farm buildings, through a (freshly plowed!) field, in a rather large thicket of trees & brush, under and through the briars and undergrowth. The old decorative wire fence still surrounds this little cemetery, though it has now fallen down. The cemetery is somewhat larger than the few gravestones would indicate, and there are signs that other, unmarked graves are here.
