Resolutions of Respect
Whereas, our Heavenly Father in His infinite wisdom, has seen fit to remove from our midst,
our friend and co-worker, Mrs Alma Rancke Lane.
Therefore, be it resolved by the members of the Wightman Circle of the First Methodist Church of Dillon this third day of December 1929:
First--That we bow in humility to the will of God.
Second--That we realize the loss of one of our most faithful and valuable members--one whose life and labor were devoted in large measure to the work of her church and the furtherance of the Master's Kingdom.
Third---That we extend to her family in their hour of deep grief our deepest sympathy.
Fourth--That these resolutions be incorporated in our minutes; that a copy be sent to the family, the local paper, and to the Southern Christian Advocate.
