L. B. JACKSON

L. B. Jackson, prosperous farmer of the Bermuda section died at his home at 6:30 Sunday afternoon after a long illness. Mr. Jackson would have been sixty-eight years of age on November 4th. He formerly lived near Dillon before moving to Bermuda about five years ago.

Rev. J. A. Ward, pastor of the first Baptist church of Dillon conducted the funeral services at the Hamilton cemetery where interment took place.

Pall bearers were Adolphus Jackson, Liston Coward, Julian McKenzie, Mac Hatchell, I. McKenzie and Ted Jackson.

Surviving are his widow formerly Miss Louisa Hamilton and five daughters: Mrs. Dorsey Jackson, Clio; Mrs. Bruce Hayes, Kemper; Mrs. Dave Phillips, Mullins; Miss Edith Jackson and Mrs. Ben Freeman, Dillon a son Beaufort Jackson and a half-brother, Martin Jackson.
