Mrs. J. M. Lupo

Mrs. J. M. Lupo, age 73, resident of Douglas for the past forty years, died at her home Wednesday afternoon. She was buried this afternoon at four o'clock from the First Baptist Church with Rev. S. L. Goldfinch reading the last rites. She was buried at the City Cemetery.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Bessie Taylor, Mrs. I. J. Cargile, and Miss Hilda Lupo, all of Douglas; one sister, Mrs. Mary Graham, Fairmont, N.C.

Pallbearers were Messrs. Earl Brewer, Buddie McClelland, Frank Simmons, Marvin Towlson, Gilmore Yawn and Calvin Yawn.

The Douglas Undertaking Company was in charge of the funeral.
