Retired salesman dies Sunday

Cole Blease Harris, 65, died Sunday in a Columbia Hospital. Born in Marlboro County, he was a son of the late Alonzo and Mary Kate Dees Harris. He was a retired salesman.

Funeral services were to be held at five o'clock this (Tuesday) afternoon at Blanton-Cottingham Funeral Home with burial in Regan Cemetery.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs Ruth Stephens Harris; two daughters, Mrs Peggy H Johnson, Rowland, NC., and Mrs Betty English, Columbus, Ohio; four sisters, Mrs Edna McCormick and Miss Jenny Harris, Fairmont, NC., Mrs Jessie Coward, Darlington, Mrs Mary Hayes, Conway; and five grandchildren.
