Mrs Nina Heniford

Loris---Mrs Nina Heniford died Saturday at a Hartsville nursing home.

Funeral will be Sunday at 5pm at Pleasant Meadow Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery, directed by Brown-Pennington-Atkins Funeral Home.

Mrs Heniford was born May 18, 1887, in Dillon County, a daughter of the late Jesse Statton Rowell and Mrs Caroline Herring Rowell.

She was a member of Pleasant Meadow Baptist Church and was a teacher in ladies Bible class.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs James H Felkel of Hartsville; Mrs John M Flowers of North Charleston; foure (sp) sons, Bruce M Heniford of Charlotte, NC., Bryan E Heniford of Florence, and William R Heniford of Richardson, Tex; (only 3 sons listed in paper...cgk)...two sisters, Mrs Minnie Lane of Marion and Mrs Annie Jones of Loris; a brother, James B Rowell of San Diego, Calif; a half-brother, Paul Rowell of Wilmington, NC.; a half sister, Mrs Cindy Sasser of Dillon; 17 grandchildren.
