Will hold services Wednesday

Services for William M Johnson will be held Wednesday at 3:3'0 pm o'clock from Little Mount Zion Baptist Church in Lake View. Burial will follow in the Union Cemetery, Lake View, directed by Mutual-King Funeral Home.

Mr Johnson was born Dec 11, 1896 in Lake View, and died Monday in the veterans hospital in Fayetteville, NC, after years of declining health.

He was a son of the late William M Johnson Sr., and Molly Johnson. He was a member of Little Mount Zion Baptist Church. He was a member of St Mark Lodge 71 and also American Legion Post 226. He was a veteran of World War I.

Survivors include three sisters; Mrs Janie Davis, Dillon; Estell Hayes, Lake View; Novell Connico, Charlotte, NC.,; numerous nieces and nephews.
