MARSHVILLE, N.C. - Services for Loretta Jackson, 65, 2 p.m. Saturday at Cooper Funeral Home, Dillon, S.C.; burial in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation is 7-9 tonight at the funeral home. Born in Dillon Co. to General Shell and Lila Dillon Jackson, she died Jan. 22, 2004. Surviving: husband, Leroy Jackson; son, Dale Jackson; siblings, Clara Harrelson, Hazel Stephens, Amanda Hardwick, Hoyt, Bishop Jackson.

Loretta Jackson

Loretta Jackson, 65, died Thursday, January 22, 2004, in Union Regional Hospital in Monroe, North Carolina.

Funeral services were held 2:00 pm Saturday afternoon in Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery.

Born in Dillon County, December 16, 1938, she was the daughter of the late General Shell Jackson and Lila Bell Dillon Jackson. She was a member of Covenant Baptist Church in Monroe, NC., member of the UDC, and was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Leroy Eugene Jackson of Marshville, NC; son, Dale E Jackson of Marshville, NC; sisters, Clara Bell Harrelson of Dillon, Hazel Stephens of Dillon, Amanda Hardwick of Floyd Dale; brothers, Hoyt Jackson of Dillon and Bishop Jackson of Conover, NC.
