Acie Lane

DILLON -- Services for Acie Lafone Lane will be held Sunday at 3:00 p.m. in Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with entombment in Evergreen Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation will be 7-9 tonight in Cooper Funeral Home. Mr. Lane died Friday, December 10,1999 at his residence after an illness.

Born in Dillon County, November 4, 1925, he was the son of the late Charlie Lane and Annie Webster Lane. He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church, was the retired owner of Lane's Northside Grocery, and was a volunteer fireman with Dillon County Fire Department. Survivors include his wife, Eunice H. Lane of Dillon; daughter, Judy L. McFadden of Spout Springs, VA; son, Ricky L. Lane of Dillon; sister, Ruby L. Jackson of Floyd Dale; brother, Maxie J. Lane of Marion; 7 grandchildren.
