Daniel Price died 1801 in Edgefield County, SC. He was born ca. 1717 in Henrico County, VA and married Mary Williamson there about 1737. Daniel Price moved to Lunenburg County, VA and from there to Chester County, SC. Eventually Daniel Price moved to Edgefield County with his older sons leaving his younger sons Daniel, Jr. and Cuthbert back in Chester County. Daniel Price's other sons were Samuel Price (1740), William Price (1743), John Price (1746), and Joseph Price (1749). All of the sons remained in Edgefield County and John died there around 1807 leaving a will. Pugh Price born ca. 1795 was a member of this family and apparently a grandson of one of the four sons above. Vina Chandler Price who wrote a book about this family told me she had difficulty determining relationships among the Prices in Edgefield County and finally had to admit defeat. I am interested in any information concerning this family.

Does anyone know what the relationship between William Warren who owned land on Moore's Creek between 1778 and about 1807 be to Thomas Warren who purchased William's "homeplace"? Also, the Warrens made millstones. Is there a record of such a business in that area?
