Death of Mrs. Carolina Hare, Who was Ninety-Six Years Old

Mrs. Caroline Hare, the aged widow of the late Drew Hare, died last Saturday afternoon at her home in Buford township. She was 96 years of age and leaves 6 children, 60 grandchildren and 70 great grandchidren.

Her children are Mr. L.C. Hare, of this place; Mr. U.J. Hare of Buford township; Mrs. Elizabeth Snipes and Mrs. Martha J. McManus, also of Buford; Mr. J.L. Hare of Texas and Mr. John Hare of Georgia.

Mrs. Hare was the daughter of George McManus, long since dead. She was a consistent member of the Baptist church. She possessed a remarkable constitution, as evidenced by her advanced age. Her remains were buried Sunday at Union Baptist Church.
