Will of James Austin

In the name of God, Amen. I James Austin of the District of Laurens and State of South Carolina, being of sound and disposing mind and memory, but weak in body, and calling to mind the unsartinty of life and being desirous of disposing of all such worldly property as it heith pleased God to bless me with, do make this and ordain it to be my last will and testament in manner following, that is to say.
My desire is as soon as convenent after my decease that my son James, shall have the last and that enough of my personal shall be dispered of in the best manner by my executor, whom I shall hearafter name, shall think proper to pay my just debts and funeral expenses.
It is further my desire that my beloved wife Henerata Austin and my children shall have all the residue of my estate, real and personal, during her natural life.
And at her death that the whole of my estate shall be sold and equally divided amounghst my children.
It is also further my desire that none of my land should be disposed of during her life.
I do nominate and appoint Alexd. Austin to be my executor to exectute this my last will and testament.
In testomy whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal, this 30th. March, 1832. Signed, sealed, published, and delivered in presence of.
