Will of Manoah Robeson

In the name of God, Amen. I Manoah Roberson of the District of Laurens and State of South Carolina ( farmer ), being of sound mind and disposing memory, but calling to mind the uncertainty of life and being desirous to dispose of all such worldly estate as it hath pleaded God to Blefs me with, do make and ordain this my last will in manner following that is to say.
I give and bequeath to my loving wife Lucretia Roberson during her natural life or widowhood the following property viz. the plantation whereon I now live together with every thing therreon and all the personal estate during her natural life or widowhood.
After her death or widowhood the remainder of the estate to go to her two daughters that is to share and share alike.
If my dearly beloved wife Lucretia Robertson remains on the plantation well, if she moves off the plantation is to be sold and the money put at interest by my executor until my two daughters comes of age of twenty one years of age.
If she remains on the plantation all is to belong to her as before mentioned.
And Lastly, I constitute and appoint William Owings executor of this my last will and testament by me hereby revoking all other wills and testament by me made.
In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this the eighteenth day of November, One Thousand Eight Hundred and Forty Four.
