I, James White, planter of State and District aforesaid, having the free use and exercise of my body and reason on the nineteenth day of July, in the year of Our Lord, One Thousand Eight Hundred and Seven. But being very weak in body and knowing that it is appointed unto all men once to die, and not being able to say how soon, for the peace and welfare of my family. And to prevent all disputes I have thought it best to dispose of my whole estate, real and personal, in the following manner ( viz ).
First it is my will that all my just debts are first paid.
Secondly, I will to each of my children fifty dollars, first paying to my four oldest children two years after my death, and to the others as they become of age or marries.
And the balance of my estate real and personal, I will to my wife Elizabeth White forever to be at her own disposal. And I do hereby nominate and constitute and appoint my wife Elizabeth White my sole Executrix to this my last will and testament.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my havd and seal the day and year above written. Signed, sealed in presence of:
