Miss Hattie Driggers and Colon Crowley were quietly married at the home
of her parents on Wednesday evening. Rev. A. E. Holer officiated. After
the ceremony conversation turned to religious matters and the young
couple expressed a desire to join the Methodist church. After a talk
with the couple they were found fit subjects for membership, their
manners were taken by the pastor thus plighting their faith in each
other and the Savior at the same time. They appreared before the church
on Sunday morning and were formally received into membership. |
