John Martin Brandenburg landed in America from Germany in 1750. John Martin had three sons and one daughter -- James, Conrad, Martin and Magdaline. All died young except Martin, born December, 1758, died December 31, 1808. Martin had seven sons and five daughters.

JOHN MARTIN BRANDENBURG landed in America from Germany in A.D. 1750.

Said John Martin begat three sons and one daughter, Sons names JAMES, CONRAD, and MARTIN; daughter MAGDALINE.

All deceased young except MARTIN who was born December 1755, (died December 31, 1808) who begat seven sons and five daughters. Sons names JOHN, MARTIN, MATHIAS, ADAM, JAMES, CONRAD and DAVID; daughters names ELIZABETH, MARGARET, MAGDALLINE, CATHERINE and ROSEANN (born August 18, 1805). Said MARTIN departed this life December 31, 1808.

ADAM BRANDENBURG and SOPHIA BURKETT was married February 14, 1808.

JAMES MARTIN BRANDENBURG was born November 21, 1808, he is deceased.
DERRILL SHEDRACK BRANDENBURG (my grandfather) was born Nov. 4, 1810.
MARY EUGENAH BRANDENBURG was born October 26, 1812.

DERRILL SHEDRACK BRANDENBURG and HARRIET FOGLE were married [no date].

MARY SOPHIA BRANDENBURG was born March 30, 1835 (my mother).

MARY SOPHIA BRANDENBURG (my mother) and OLIN J. FANNING (my father) was married June 20, 1872.

I am the only one living from Mary S. and O.J. Fanning. I have a few first cousins. If you are interested in this information or have any thing about the Brandenburgs from you. I have been told that one of the Brandenburg boys settled over near St. Mathews. All underscored are my folks.
