The Name Of God Amen I Susanah Meadors of State and
District a foresaid, being sick and weak in body but of
of sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding
Thanks be to God for the Same, Do make this my last will
and testament in manner following. That is to Say, I
Give and Devise and Bequesth to my son Ruben Meadors the
tract of Land I now live on forever being about ninty
acres more or Less, and all the growing crops at this
time or at the time of my Death Also three horse Creatures being two
mars and one horse also my wagon and gears and all my
plantation tools of every kind, also I Give and bequeath
into my grand daughter Anne Meadors, Daughter of my son
Ruben Meadors my Side Saddle, I give and bequeath unto
my Sons Jason & John Meadors, all the money that
Jason debts out of the property above willed to him And I do
hereby nominate constitute and appoint my Son Ruben Meadors Sole
Executor of this my last will and testament, hereby
Revoking and making void all and every will or wills at
any time heretofore by me made, and Do Declare this to
be my last will and testament. In Witness whereof I the
said Susanah Meadors have hereunto set my hand and Seal
this Eighteenth day of July in the year of our Lord
Eighteen hundred and twenty three this for ever before
signed Susan x Meadors her mark (L S)
Signed, Sealed declared, and published by the above named
Susanah Meadors as and for her last will and testament in the
presence of us who in her presence have subscribed our names
as witnesses thereto James Bryson
