In the name of God, Amen.
I George Brandon Senr of the State of South Carolina, Union District, being of sound and disposing mind and memory, praised be God for his mercies, do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in form and manner following.
First, I will that all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid by my Executor herein after named. Also I do leave to my Wife Lettice Brandon during her widowhood or natural life all my property real and personal, to be disposed of by her to my Children Mar, James K. & Benjamin K. Brandon at her pleasure. In case of her death or second marriage my property is to be equally divided among my three children above named.
Lastly, I constitute and appoint Christopher Brandon Executor & my Wife Lettice Brandon Executrix of this my last Will & Testament. Witnessed my hand and Seal, This 23rd September in the Year of Our Lord 1826.
