Directions: About five miles north-west of Pinopolis on state highway No. 6, Area about 1 acre. In area to be flooded. Records obtained from Santee-Cooper Authority by Mrs. T.L. Connor, Eutawville, SC. This bit of history given by Henry R. Dwight, Pinopolis, SC Hanover Plantation: Home of Paul de St Julien, who erected the house in 1716. Henry Ravenel (1729-1785) married Mary de St. Julien in 1750, and moved therein in 1751. For nearly two hundred years it has been occupied by the St. Juliens and Ravenels, and was one of their burial grounds.
