with the only word in the BODY of the message being the word SUBSCRIBE. You
may also place this word in the SUBJECT if required by your email program. Ensure
that signatures are turned off. To stop receiving this list, do the same thing again, using the
word UNSUBSCRIBE in the BODY (and SUBJECT if necessary) of the message.
To subscribe in digest mode, meaning you'll receive messages sent to the
list as a group, usually daily, send an email to
SCGEORGE-D-REQUEST@rootsweb.com
with the only word in the BODY of the message being the word SUBSCRIBE. You
may also place this word in the SUBJECT if required by your email program. Ensure
that signatures are turned off. To stop receiving this list, do the same thing again, using the
word UNSUBSCRIBE in the BODY (and SUBJECT if necessary) of the message.
To participate in the list and send a message to it's subscribers, whether in list or
digest modes, send your email to
SCGEORGE-L@rootsweb.com. IMPORTANT:
Sending UNSUBSCRIBE messages to this address has no effect other than to annoy the list's
members. You must use the "-REQUEST" address for this to be effective.
