Margaret Mary Leifheit Eliason, 80, of Moncks Corner, died Sept. 14, 2006, at Hospice of Charleston Hospice Center. The memorial service was 10 a.m., Sept. 18, at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church directed by Russell Funeral Chapel. Mrs. Eliason was born December 27, 1925, in Philadelphia, Penn., a daughter of William Leifheit and Helen Bartholomew Leifheit. She was a member of St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church. She was the widow of John Arnold Eliason. Surviving are a daughter, Virginia M. Haynes of Johns Island; three sons, John W. Eliason of Burlington, NJ; Michael T. Eliason of Villas, NJ; Stephen M. Eliason of Moncks Corner; two sisters, Mary Valentino of Williamstown, NJ and Helen Dulin of Philadelphia, Penn.; brother-Joseph Leifheit of Cape May, NJ; six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
