Mrs. Margaret Juanita Sandusky Vogel of Cherryville, NC, died Aug. 14,
2006, at Gaston Memorial Hospital, Gaston, NC.Visitation for Mrs. Vogel
was held at Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home on Aug. 16, from 6 to 7:30
p.m. A Memorial Service will be held in Moncks Corner at a later date.
Burial was in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Moncks Corner, SC.Mrs. Vogel was born
Oct. 26, 1924, in New Jersey, a daughter of the late Harold and Florence
Biglin Sandusky. She was the widow of William R. Vogel. Mrs. Vogel was a
member of St. Michael's Lutheran Church of Moncks Corner and a retired
receptionist with The Berkeley Democrat in Moncks Corner, SC.Surviving are
her son and daughter-in-law, William D. and Shirley Vogel of Columbia, SC;
two daughters, Laurie Vogel of Moncks Corner, and Carol Elmore of Crouse,
NC; a sister, Dorothy DeHay of Cross; six grandchildren; and five great
grandchildren. Memorials may be made to St. Michaels Lutheran Church,
321 W. Main Street, Moncks Corner, SC 29461.
