Jane Rhodes, 85, of Moncks Corner, SC, formerly of Leisure Village East,

Interment was in Cypress Hills Cemetery, Brooklyn. She was employed by
Sears, Lakewood for many years in customer service before retiring 20
years ago. She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church, Toms River, NJ
and a member of Braille for the Blind, and a past president of the PTA
on Long Island, NY. Born in Brooklyn, she moved to Leisure Village East,
Lakewood in 1972 and to South Carolina in 1999. She was predeceased by
her husband, Henry, in 1979; and her two sisters, Barbara Chambers and

Ella Mae Mitchell Rivers of Moncks Corner, SC, died Sept. 7, 2006, at her
residence. Funeral services were held Sept. 15, at Anderson Baptist Church
with the Rev. Oscar Cash officiating. Burial, directed by Gethers Funeral
Home, Inc. was in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Rivers was born April 11, 1922, in Quincy, Fla., daughter of Albert and
Marie Mitchell. She was educated in Berkeley County schools. She was a member
of Anderson Baptist Church. Mrs. Rivers, affectionately called LZ, relocated
to New York City where she became a member of Springfield Missionary Baptist
Church and served as President of the Missionary Board and as President of
the Willing Worker's Club until her health failed in December 2004. She was
the widow of Richard Rivers, Jr.
Survivors include her children; Lillian Pittmon, Elie Bryan (Sadie), and
Marie Rivers Green; sisters, Mary Ponder, Dorothy Bowden, Daisy L. McCray,
Beulah Mitchell, Ruth Mitchell and Eugenia Mitchell; brother, Albert Mitchell,
Jr.; one uncle; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; seven grandchildren,
fifteen great-grandchildren and four great, great-grandchildren.
Lois Allen Roark, 80, widow of Howard S. Roark of Moncks Corner,
SC, died February 16, 2006 at a local hospital. Funeral services will be
held at Parks Funeral Home Chapel, Sunday afternoon, February 19, 2006 at

Memorial services for Robert "Bob" Rodencal of Summerville were held Saturday,
June 24, 2006 at The Net International Ministries in Summerville.A second memorial
service will be held in Waynesville, N.C. on July 22, 2006 at Dayspring Christian
Fellowshipe announced.Mr. Rodencal died June 23. He was 62.He was born on May 14,
1944 in Berlin, Wis., a son of the late Frederick George and Erma Wade Rodencal.
He was an employee of Ditchwitch of Charlotte, N.C. for the last 10 years, and
prior to that he had his own business in Clyde, N.C.In March 1976, Mr. Rodencal
met his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and promptly read the entire Bible through
twice within a year. He excelled in playing the drums, and after he was saved he
began playing them for the Lord, first at Dayspring Christian Fellowship for the
25 years he lived in Waynesville, and then at the Net/Rock Church after his
relocation to South Carolina.Besides playing the drums, Mr. Rodencal loved to
build and fly model airplanes and tinker and repair any kind of motors and
electronics. He recently become reacquainted with boating and fishing, sports
he loved as a child in Wisconsin and also as a young groom and father in Florida.
He is survived by his loving wife Linda, three daughters, a son, and their
families: Helane and her husband, Darin Reeves of Candler, N.C., Rick Ellis
and his wife Annette of Paducah, Ken., Elizabeth and her husband Rev. David
Jones of Spring Creek, N.C. and Sarah and her husband Joey Barker of High Point,
N.C.Also surviving are grandchildren Miranda Frazier of Candler, N.C., Scott
Reeves of Hendersonville, N.C., Nathan and CJ Ellis of Paducah, Ken., and Alora

Robert Stephen "Bobby" Rudloff, 29, of St. Stephen, SC , an auxiliary
operator for Santee Cooper died Sun., Sept. 3, 2006 in Berkeley County.
The funeral was held Tues., Sept. 5, in the First Baptist Church, Moncks
Corner. Dr. Hal West officiated. Interment followed in St. John's Baptist
Church Cemetery, Pinopolis. Directed by Dial-Murray Funeral Home, Moncks
Corner. Bobby was born Sept. 22, 1976, in Orangeburg, SC, a son of Stephen
Charles Rudloff and Mary Schipmann Rudloff. He served in the US Army and
was a member of the First Baptist Church, Moncks Corner. Bobby was a
graduate of Berkeley High School and a member of the Buck Hall Hunting
Club. He loved hunting and fishing as do most Berkeley County boys.
He enjoyed cooking on the grill - especially barbequeing hogs - and was
very good at it. Bobby had a quick smile and enjoyed life - he hardly
ever met a stranger. He was a loving son and a good husband. Surviving
are, his wife, Kelly Clarke Rudloff; his parents of Moncks Corner; a sister,
Brett Rudloff of Moncks Corner; his grandmother, Peggy Darby Schipmann of St.
Stephen; a niece, Ali Ciccotto and a nephew, Bryce Singletary.
Pallbearers were David Bowers, Avery Caddell, David Baumann, Chris Hewette,
Clayton Medinger, Chuck Cannon, and Richie Dennis.
